From the initial contact with Duncan Shaw at Equip Outdoor consultancy Ltd, he was keen, professional and most of all contactable! We told him our plans of a team building event for two different sites to merge for 3 days in the Lake District, and he came up with a detailed itinerary and costs. From the moment we arrived at High House in Keswick everything was ready for us. We started with a Project tournament initially which made the two groups merge and interact with each other highlighting each other’s skills and personalities. That evening we had a welcome BBQ and sat around the fire pit playing games. The next day we had professional guides take up us into the hills where the groups emerged naturally as we went higher. There was no pressure to go further than your own ability and other options were given if climbing Scafell was not an option! There were bags of enthusiasm and pure kindness from Duncan, the guides were great and we all thank you for all your efforts and patience. There was great food and great company and it was a fantastic chance to get to know new work colleagues. Thank you!

I’ve worked with Duncan for over 12 years and he remains my “go to” when I am designing an event. Duncan is capable, thorough and totally dependable, if I suddenly vanished from my programme I am sure Duncan would complete it. His attention to detail when running sessions or setting projects is second to none and he makes sure that he knows why I am using the project in terms of the event's outcomes.
